Last Week..

We went out last Saturday to do the Repton Ramble and some other Geocaches in the area.  We managed to turn what should have been a 5 mile walk in to a nearly 7 mile walk.  We also made a very early (for us) start on Junes Ey Up Me Duck Challenge.  Two cache types during that day out - a hybrid letterbox and a traditional.

I'm saving the shows up ready for a binge-listen when I do the 3 peaks next week (eeeeeeek!) so I've not listened yet. If I could be really cheeky and mention our fundraising page here - we're aiming to climb Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis in 24 hours in aid of Be Child Cancer Aware - a children's cancer charity close to my heart.

Dumb Stuff Geocachers Do..

He bought a torch, put the batteries in it, moaned (really he did) that it didn't work, waited a week to take it back to the shop, got a new one, put batteries in it, moaned again (hard to believe but true) that it didn't work. I looked at it and got it to work straight away, he was pressing the button, when all he needed to do was slide it! He then realised the first torch wasn't faulty after all! #dumbcacher

GGH Tips..

When shopping for your #geocaching #kayak, remember that flat bottom kayaks are more difficult to maneuver. You want all the control possible when hunting caches in a sea taco, so chose carefully! There's plenty more tips in "GGH 173: Kayaking I."
