Last Week..
BananaSource and Miss Watto went Geocaching in The Peak District. We did the TRotAM series by Paperballpark. Here is the description
This series of 50 caches will take you through the classic poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner. The caches are set on a walk of approx. 13 miles, giving stunning views of some of the best scenery in the Peak District National Park.
We managed just over 7 miles of the walk, with 16 finds. We took a wrong turn at one point, which cut the walk short.

Baelo Claudia’s management says the practice is causing major structural damage, particularly to the stone wall of the parking lot where geocaches are hidden.
They claim that stones are being moved, causing damage to walls as well as resulting in tripping hazards.
Furthermore, they intend to take legal action to prevent geocaching on the ancient site, in accordance with the Andalucía heritage laws.
This bomb is not a Geocache (From grandforksherald.com)
The apparent bomb is not a geocaching marker or some other innocuous device, said Detroit Lakes Police Chief Tim Eggebraaten.
“Whoever left it definitely wanted us to think it was a bomb,” he said.
Dumb Stuff Geocachers Do..
Moan-A-Lot loggs 400 caches incorrectly
Logged 407 caches via gsak saying I was on the bloody Langollen canal (ask Colin French how to pronounce it) when really in was doing the 360° compass series in bodmin, different country for Christ's sake! Moral of the story check your template!

This weeks in political. Nothing to do with Geocaching, but then what on this show is. I blame moan a lot for David Cameron being Prime Minister. He voted for him and now we have a man who has had relations with a pigs head as our Prime Minister.

GGH Tips..
#Geocaching.com has an easy way to see all the stops along a trackable's journey as it dips into #events and #geocaches. The "View Map" link above the trackable's logs will show all the stops of a trackable journey on a single map image. It also lists each stop with all the logs for all the detail. Thanks to debaere for sharing that tip with us on "GGH 162: Randomize XXXI."

How long do you spend looking for a Geocache before giving up?
Nemesis Geocache...
From Marcus Maximi..
Everyone has their nemesis cache. I've had a few, but they're usually sorted after a couple or three visits and a couple of hints from previous finders or the CO replacing them but there's one that's been bugging me for several years - Sie Ihren Wagon by Wybo Lakes.
It is situated in the car park of Lidl in St Neots and I have a look for it every time I've been there shopping. That's quite a few times! But never any joy.
Last time I went I saw that all the trees had had a severe hair cut, I had a look around, checked the floor too, but no joy. It must have gone.
Yesterday I went back and everything is still very bare but I went and had a loko anyway. It was dark and rainy by ow and I didn't hold out much hope but I thought I'd have a quick look anyway.
I went back to the place where I always look first and there it was, just sitting there in the open for all to see!!Unbelievable! This has been more of a nemesis than Oh Beep's airport cache!!!

Great managed to find 1 cache and had about 15 dnfs. All the caches on the island are placed by Germans and even the easy ones are Flipping deadly!
cache hint under a black rock on an Island made of black Fecking rocks!
Clambering over said black rocks made of lava that have been baking in 33 degree heat all their lives.
Plus all the details and logs were in German.
If I hadnt had the Baby out with me I would not have quit.
In fact I am officially regestering the Island of Tenerife as my nemesis cache.

Ey Up Me Duck Challenge..
August/September Winners.

September
Hi Guys,Thought I had better get my entry in for Septembers challenge Ey Up Me Duck challengeDaniel in the Lions Den not only does it have an animal in its name but it is by Lone Wolf plus one, so animal name in the CO's name as well, surely that's worth two entries :) 4 star difficulty but hidden in plain sight made this a quick easy find. Mind you I knew this would be an easy challenge as there is a large series called animal facts hidden all over the place near where we live, so I had plenty to choose from.Unfortunately even with the bonus time won't be able to get August's challenge done, sadly Uni assignment don't just write themselves, o well only another three weeks to go of the semester, then maybe I might have some more time for caching :)Keep up the great work guys, look forward to the next show.ByeDamianfrom D&V&L
Hello :)
As the last day of September appeared we realised that we hadn't found any animal named caches so a cache hunt was needed on CG.com, the only one un-found by both @(B and I locally was GC4Q1YC Anti-Tank Bouys (Glynde). So we headed out after dark to find and sign the log, knowing that we would be pushing our luck with this one. Anyway the cache was located and the challenge has either been achieved or we failed..... so we Ask Doctor D Yes or No :)Looking forward to find out what cunning challenge will be set this month.Keep up the good workKarl & AlexKAB1972 & @(B
